Sculpture Workshops

• Create a complete sculpture in a day

This is an opportunity to create a finished sculpture using wire, acrylic resin and mixed media. The workshop will begin by looking at the design you would like to use as inspiration for your sculpture, this will then be sketched in 3D using wire to create the armature or framework for the sculpture. The piece will continue to be developed with additional wire, resin, materials and a plaster base if required. The sculpture can be figurative or abstract, if you have ideas or images you would like to use then do bring them along otherwise there will be a selection of books and reference material available to use for inspiration. 

Gloves and plastic aprons are available but please wear old clothes, the materials used are water-based but may be difficult to wash out of some fabrics. All tools and materials are supplied and you are welcome to bring along any other items that you might like to incorporate in your work.
