My current favourite horse sculpture in the studio has gone to a new home. Treasure is approximately 45cm high, made from Crystacal plaster with surface castings of jewellery highlighted with delicate metal leaf. I love the intricate detail of the textures this approach creates and the way metallic effects make the shapes stand out. Will be sorry to see this piece go and looking forward to starting on the next in this series.
